Sustainability approaches and nature tourism development

This article shows how combinations of different sustainability approaches tourism entrepreneurs and other actors restrict nature development in a park context. Drawing on the literature sustainable entrepreneurship case study Danish park, we show actors' orientations cannot clearly be assigned specific theoretical approaches. Instead, they express degrees focus various parameters sustainability, thereby shaping ‘sustainability DNA’. The analysis DNAs are incommensurable that this limits development. incommensurability arises from underlying ontological beliefs about including reasons for which is included organisational strategies. We suggest root-cause model to help solve conflicts arising incommensurability.
